Role Overview

This position is an integral part of the installations team with the candidate reporting directly to the Head of Installs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of their assigned projects and/or clients. Key remit of this position is to ensure that all installation projects are carried out according to the agreed client brief, within the given deadline. This role will require the candidate to work with and communicate regularly with different departments throughout the Delta Group as well as external clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and other external contacts, whilst reflecting the Delta Group's professional image at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the installation orders in line with the agreed client brief.
  • Ensure understanding and awareness of the proposed brief and job requirements.
  • Follow departments correct working processes and company best practices as well as within the guidelines of ISO9001.
  • Monitor and track the installation team's progress and report any potential problems.
  • Report any issues regarding compliance to procedures and job specifications
  • Plan for all up-coming projects, ensuring that sufficient resources and staff are in place for peak times and large projects.
  • Liaise with the clients, Sales and Production teams in order to process, develop and finalise client's briefs.
  • Carry out site surveys prior to installations and make recommendations accordingly on resources, staff, methods, potential issues and cost of the project.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure installers materials are planned, equipped, briefed and that they have everything they need to successfully complete their work.
  • Multi-task, prioritise own workload according to deadlines and complete and update the schedule and monitor progress through the project. Communicate delays to our schedule and respond to client feedback.
  • Report any issues regarding compliance to procedures and job specification.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with clients, internal staff, sub-contractors, suppliers and other external contacts.
  • Respond to customer communication in a professional manner, always maintaining and protecting the Delta Groups' image.
  • Book international travel & route planning
  • Provide Health and Safety recommendations for each project and enforce all aspects of Health and Safety, both on and off-site.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Understanding of the installation process
  • Ability to work as part of a team and their own initiatives
  • Well organised
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Computer literate in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.

Essential

  • Literate and numerate
  • Good knowledge of print Desirable
  • Project management qualifications
  • Formal apprenticeships or a degree Qualifications/ Experience
  • Two years minimum experience within the POS print sector
  • Possess a full driving license
