Packaging Operative Role
Shifts and Rate of Pay
Continental shifts - working 4 on 4 off.
This includes working 2 x 12 hour days 6am - 6pm. Followed by 2 x 12 hour nights 6pm - 6am.
Starting at £11.44 per hour. Including a shift allowance of £47.65 for each shift worked.
Skills required:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Previous experience in a packaging role is an advantage
Duties:
- Examine products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for packaging
- Apply labels to products or packaging containers
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Giving effective assistance in the changeover/clean down of packing lines
- Maintaining accurate records of production data
- Ability to work at a fast pace and be able to meet daily targets
