Production Planner Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet demands.
- Analyse data and trends to forecast production needs and adjust plans accordingly.
- Optimise production capacity and resources, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels to minimise excess and prevent stockouts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production with overall business goals
Production Planner Skills & Experience Required
- Proficiency in production planning software and MRP/ERP systems.
- Experience as a Production Planner or similar within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational skills.
