Are you a Technical Consultant or Installations Engineer with some exposure to SQL looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about what you do and have a strong customer service ethos?

The Technical Consultant / Installations Engineer role will be a hybrid role with a few days in the office based in Leeds and a couple of days working from home. The role will involve implementing their telephony / analytical software with clients in UK and abroad which is done remotely within Azure environments.

My client has created another role within their team for a Technical Implementation Consultant ideally with experience of networking and application deployment within an Azure environment.

Technical Implementation Consultant / Installations Engineer - About the role:

The Technical Implementation Consultant role will be office based in Leeds and a few days working from home and involve working closely with customers helping to analyse business requirements, clarify requirements and propose required solutions.

The main focus of the role will be to help customers achieve the maximum satisfaction from using the company's software, and apply some technical knowledge where needed around Networking, Azure, SQL, and Data.

The role will require knowledge of Azure, Networking and application implementation which can predominantly be done remotely.

The role will involve working with some well-known Enterprise clients in the Financial Services and Public Services Sectors.

Technical / Infrastructure Consultant - Key Responsibilities:

  • Present solution design for technical and non-technical audience
  • Application deployment and aid in the implementation of interaction and analytical software
  • .Deliver consultancy to customers around networking, application deployment and Azure
  • Database knowledge -SQL scripting, analyse data and create Data improvement plans and documentation to improve system configuration or process changes of the software to help with further project implementation.
  • Offer support and technical guidance during the project to customers.
  • Work closely with the whole Implementation team, developers, and senior management to ensure successful implementation of software.

Essential Technical Skills:

Candidates must have some exposure to most of the technologies listed below:

  • Application implementation experience
  • Windows Server- IIS, Web-Services,
  • Proficiency with understanding Azure and Security principles, and networking.
  • Knowledge of Workflows for extraction and transformation of Data will be beneficial
  • Strong understanding and experience of stored procedures, triggers, views, functions with SQL, T-SQL.
  • Strong problem solving, and analytical skills coupled with a passion for excelling in customer service is required.

Successful candidates must have a technical background ( with some knowledge of SQL & Web Services) and good communication skills, and some customer interaction experience.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience of implementing applications software.

In addition, you will have a good understanding of software and implementation, while having a strong interest in new & emerging technology. You will need to be able to pick up new skills and concepts quickly and balance a variety of projects.
