We are seeking a dedicated Sales Administrator to support our clients team by coordinating customer orders, processing sales transactions, and maintaining effective communication between customers and internal departments. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of their sales processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Order Processing & Coordination: Process incoming orders, input details into Sage, and create job files for production with supporting documents/drawings. Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Handle customer enquiries regarding product availability, order status, pricing, and delivery timelines. Maintain positive relationships and communicate any product delays or changes in delivery schedules promptly.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team by preparing quotations, sales proposals, and agreements. Track sales data and KPIs to generate performance reports. Handle customs paperwork for EU/RoW shipments and manage the scanning and filing of completed job files.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases. Generate regular sales reports for analysis and decision-making. Ensure all paperwork, contracts, and compliance documents are properly filed and organised.
  • General Administrative Duties: Schedule and coordinate meetings, sales reviews, and customer visits. Manage ordering of stationery and office consumables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales administration, customer service, or sales support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience or qualification in digital marketing would be desirable.
  • A strong attention to detail for accurate order processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, supporting the team and coordinating with other departments.
