This is an exciting opportunity for a Contract Mechanical Draftsman - Solidworks to support a well-known manufacturer of offshore machinery based in Glasgow.
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
Our customer designs, assembles, tests and installs offshore machinery used around the world. You will provide support to Mechanical Design Engineers on a new project and from cradle into full production. The role offers flexibility to work on a hybrid basis; 3 days on site.
Key Skills required - Contract Mechanical Draftsman - Solidworks, Glasgow:
- Strong experience of using Solidworks for 3D design
- Experience designing large steel structures
Desirable:
- Experience within offshore engineering industry
