Residential Conveyancer (1+ PQE)

We are seeking a Residential Conveyancer to deliver all aspects of residential conveyancing on behalf of our clients. The role ensures an effective and efficient service in all areas of processing a residential property transaction. The ideal candidate will have a current practical knowledge of the law relating to residential property transactions and will be committed to maintaining the highest level of client service.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Administer all aspects of Residential Conveyancing on behalf of clients, ensuring due diligence in all areas of processing a residential property transaction.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the law relating to residential property transactions, including leaseholds, freeholds, registered and unregistered properties.
- Handle transactions such as sales, purchases, re-mortgages, new builds, right to buy, help to buy, shared ownership, lease extensions, deeds of variation, and other schemes.
- Undertake any necessary research to provide correct advice.
- Maintain the highest level of client service to all parties.
- Achieve time and billing targets.
- Manage a varied caseload while being flexible to changing demands.
- Ensure client matters are progressed effectively and files are kept in good order.
- Establish good working relationships with colleagues, assisting with department workflow when required.
- Work as part of a team on other client projects.
- Build client relationships by sharing the firm's ethos of providing exceptional client care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential conveyancing.
- Strong knowledge of the law relating to residential property transactions.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet billing targets.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Strong research, organisational, and time management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
