Robertson Bell are supporting this client to recruit an Interim Finance Assistant on an initial twelve-month contract – which has the potential for extension. The head office is based in Shropshire operating on a hybrid working pattern, which enables the successful candidate to have exposure to a busy and vibrant finance department.

The Interim Finance Assistant's duties will include:

  • Processing and posting cash – allocating into the accounts.
  • Coding and matching invoices to purchase orders.
  • Raising and inputting invoices, amending incorrect information, and chasing for approval.
  • Supporting on the processing of timesheets for payroll - entering data into the system.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to pave the way in their finance career and learn a variety of skills.

The successful Interim Finance Assistant will have:

  • Experience working in a similar role or having recently completed an Accounting and Finance qualification.
  • Experience using Excel with the ability to use Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and basic formulas.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
