Training Manager

Salary: £50k - £65k p/a (Based on experience)
Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Hours: 38 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Permanent Role

A leading UK manufacturer is seeking an experienced Training Manager to oversee GMP and technical training initiatives across our multi-disciplinary operations. This key role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training strategies that align with our client's business objectives and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of trainers to deliver effective training programs.
  • Identify and assess current and future training needs across the organisation.
  • Develop and implement training plans that address needs in Engineering, QC microbiology, chemistry, and Process Units.
  • Design and deploy diverse training methods to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Conduct inductions and orientations with a focus on HSE and GMP.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on training program effectiveness.
  • Manage the training budget and resources.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and development.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record as a Training Manager in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience in designing training programs that directly affect operational performance.
  • Strong understanding of GMP and quality systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with various training methods including mentoring, coaching, e-learning, and simulations.
