About Client: Our client NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of medical services including emergency care, elective surgery, and maternity services. The hospital, founded in 1984, offers comprehensive diagnostic and cancer care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to enhance patients' functional abilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy techniques and lifestyle adaptations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and progress reports.
- Stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices and evidence-based research.
Essential Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy.
- At least 1 year of recent NHS experience.
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
