Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join a rapidly growing business located in East Bristol. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:
Up to £40,000 plus excellent benefits
Role responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of month end accounts including the calculation of accruals & prepayments for overheads
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain all fixed asset registers, including depreciation
- Recharge processing on a monthly basis
- Reconcile all stock control accounts, ensuring all necessary action is undertaken in a timely manner, including monthly & quarterly stock takes
- Process and reconcile bank account transactions daily and prepare bank reconciliations each month for all bank accounts
- Monthly control account reconciliations
- Monthly analysis and reconciliation of petty cash
- Process all cash expenses
- Provide support to the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions as required
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
Person specification:
- Working knowledge of the month end process, including: accruals, prepayments, fixed assets
- AAT L4 qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA
- Good attention to detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
