About the Role:
Starting Point Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Security Service & Maintenance Engineer. This role involves ensuring top-notch preventative, reactive, and remedial maintenance for a variety of domestic and commercial properties in and around London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly maintain integrated electronic fire and security systems in compliance with regulations.
- Perform minor repairs and small works on various properties.
- Maintain accurate asset logs of on-site equipment.
- Efficiently manage your daily workload to complete jobs timely.
- Communicate and report to the office daily.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- In-depth understanding of fire and security systems, and British Standards.
- Relevant qualifications (NSI/LPCB/C&G, etc.).
- Proficiency in carrying out preventative maintenance to current standards.
- Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Extensive experience with CCTV/Access Control systems; training in Entrotec or fire alarm systems is a plus.
General Requirements:
- Background in the construction industry or fire & security systems.
- Clear criminal record and ability to pass a CRB/DBS check.
- Full compliance with the security industry's screening process.
