Location - Birchington, Kent

Salary - Highly competitive DOE

Hours - 40 hours per week

Responsibilities for the role of the Supply Chain Administrator

  • Maintaining all necessary documentation related to customs declarations in collaboration with our clearing partners
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure all incoming packing lists and invoices are timely and accurate
  • Managing and processing traceability requirements for customer exports
  • Assisting with stock management
  • Monitoring and publishing glasshouse forecasting data
  • Overseeing and maintaining sales order entry and control for customer processing
  • Executing order acknowledgements and raising and updating supporting purchase orders in a prompt and accurate fashion
  • Tracking import vehicles and managing the booking slot process

Specifications required for the role of Supply Chain Administrator

  • Will have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel (intermediate to advanced level), Word and Outlook
  • The ability to work around and solve problems, measure risk and make sound judgements is essential to this role's success
  • Will need to have a high level of enthusiasm and passion to learn and develop
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must for this role
  • Possess a high level of accuracy to be effective
  • You will need to be self-motivated and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount to this role
  • Demonstrable understanding of our local community would be highly desirable
