We're recruiting an Administrator to join our Performance Management, Quality and Risk Team. This is a new position, based at our office in Bedford, MK44 3JZ.

Our Performance Management, Quality and Risk Team work across Copart to ensure the business is working efficiently and effectively and that the business maintains a high level of service.

The team monitor and evaluate performance and identify and support new initiatives for driving continuous improvement, to ensure that compliance is adhered to, performance targets are met and service is constantly evaluated and improved.

Reporting to the Head of Performance Management, Quality & Risk, the Administrator will be responsible for providing essential support to all Departments within this team, covering functions such as Health and Safety, Environment, Training and Audit support.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems, as well as ensuring that all documentation is relevant and current.
  • Maintaining a central data base for all accidents and Incidents and ensuring that investigations are completed in full.
  • Collaborating with all Copart teams to ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for supporting audits from external bodies to include ISO.
  • Scheduling the Team's regular on-site visits
  • Managing Copart Grey Fleet administration to maintain compliance.
  • Manage all general administration duties to include travel bookings for the team.

What we need from you:

  • Experience in a similar Office Administrator, or HSE Administrative role
  • Demonstrable understanding of Quality Management Systems and audits.
  • Excellent planning, program management and documentation skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels of our organisation.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must have strong organisational and planning skills to manage your time well and to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and innovative approach to work.
  • Proven confidence and resilience to deal with challenges from external and internal stakeholders.
  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail orientated and possess strong analytical skills.
