We have a client looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the team at a busy site in Cambridgeshire which retails a popular brand. The successful candidate should be an energetic, dynamic individual who is able to lead and motivate a large number of staff ensuring that the high standards set by both the group and manufacturer are upheld, whilst maintaining and improving the targets for both sales and service departments.The successful candidate must have experience at GM/DP level within the franchised Motor Trade and must be used to dealing with large numbers of both new and used vehicles, possessing the ability to make an immediate and sustainable impact in the dealership as well as recruit, train and motivate the staff. Key responsibilities include maintaining sales turnover, profitability, performance against target, customer satisfaction and retention. In addition you need to have a Customer-centric approach to Aftersales and be able to support the team already in place to create a first class service facility. The package on offer includes an OTE of £120k, plus car and all the usual benefits associated with a role of this size.
