Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Learning Mentor to join a dynamic Secondary SEN school in Oxford/Woodeaton.

The Role:

We are partnering with a respected Secondary SEN school that is seeking a Learning Mentor to support mixed classes across KS3 and KS4. This role focuses on working with students with Autism and Learning Difficulties, providing them with the personalized support they need to thrive academically and socially. The position is full-time, long-term, and begins immediately, extending through the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role.

  • Location: Woodeaton, Oxford
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Salary: £80 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
  • Collaborating with teachers to implement individual learning plans
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

About You:

  • Willingness to work in a special needs setting
  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with Autism or Learning Difficulties
  • Availability to work from 08:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Patience, reliability, and a nurturing approach
  • Ready to trial and/or interview immediately
