In this six-month fixed term contract, you will play a key role as Finance Business Partner, working across various departments to provide in-depth monthly financial reporting, supporting budget planning cycles, and partnering with department leaders to maximise financial performance. With a strategic mindset, you'll act as a critical advisor, ensuring informed decisions and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on financial reporting and monthly forecasting for designated service areas, advising budget holders on effective budget management and supporting them in meeting financial objectives.
- Support the organisation's planning cycle, collaborating with teams such as Marketing, and Strategy to integrate financial insights into planning and decision-making processes.
- Act as a strategic financial advisor, assisting budget holders in evaluating new initiatives and business development opportunities to ensure financial viability and risk management.
- Collaborate with fellow Finance Business Partners to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and support financial training for budget holders.
- Lead on financial modelling and contribute to ongoing process improvement, providing strategic financial insights that support continuous growth and efficiency.
- Assist with year-end financial statements and audit queries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
This is a six-month fixed term contract with a potential to go permanent and will be based in northwest London with a two day a week requirement of office working. The role will benefit from a generous pension scheme, flexible working and a highly competitive annual leave package.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: Fully qualified in accounting (e.g., CCAB, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or progressing towards final qualification stages.
- Experience: Proven expertise in business partnering, management accounting, and financial reporting for large-scale budgets. Experience in providing financial support to senior stakeholders, ideally within complex organisations.
- Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency, strong analytical capabilities, and exceptional communication skills. Able to navigate ambiguity and offer clear solutions within changing environments.
- Teamwork: A collaborative partner with experience in influencing key decision-makers and working alongside stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
