Requirements:
- At least a degree in psychology, or a related subject.
- Dedication to the education and wellbeing of SEN students.
- A welcoming and friendly personality and communication style.
- A natural ability to form strong bonds with children.
- Commitment to following safeguarding processes to protect the safety of pupils.
- Previous experience of working alongside children, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not essential.
The Role
- 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs across all areas of the syllabus.
- Monitoring the pupil's progress and formulating support strategies.
- Offering constructive feedback to improve the attainment and progress.
- Working in close collaboration with teaching staff to adapt learning materials in accordance with individual's learning needs.
- Creating strong bonds with both staff and pupils to ensure a positive learning environment.
