Purpose of position:

Are you looking to make an impact and help shape the user experience for our customers across the globe? We're seeking a Product Designer to join Awin in our mission to help customers grow their business online.You'll become a vital part of our UX team, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to deliver excellence in user experience. You'll be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to release, championing for users and creating human-centred solutions.Our team is a bunch of lovely, smart and dedicated humans. Key Tasks:

  • Co-leading human-centred discovery with Product teams, identifying user context and the right problems to solve
  • Providing heuristic evaluations of existing designs to pinpoint improvement areas
  • Mapping user journeys and processes, identifying key steps and pain points within the broader context of product and experience strategy
  • Collaborating closely with other disciplines, creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and advanced prototypes
  • Working closely with the development teams for seamless implementation
  • Leading crits and feedback sessions
  • Facilitating discovery and design sessions, as well as workshops

Skills and expertise:

  • Experience working as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio of shipped work
  • Excellent understanding of human-centred design principles and best practices
  • Ability to identify and understand business and user needs, articulating problem statements effectively
  • Capability to create multiple design solutions backed by solid rationale to help stakeholders understand the benefits of your work
  • Excellent understanding of the principles of interaction design, information architecture best practices, visual communication, and design psychology
  • In-depth comprehension of content-led design and its impact on interface design
  • Ability to wireframe, design interfaces following brand guidelines, and create advanced prototypes
  • Experience in research, including heuristic evaluation, competitor research, and user testing
  • Actively seeking feedback to iterate and improve your designs
  • Good understanding of agile methodologies and how to apply them in practice in a cross-functional team
  • Good knowledge and consideration for website development and working within tech constraints
  • Ability to work with and contribute to a design system
  • Good facilitation and presentation skills
