Fusion People Recruitment is seeking a professional, self-motivated individual with proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in producing Electrical Designs. As Electrical Design Engineer, will be responsible for supporting the electrical/electronic design and testing of new machine products as well as the maintenance of existing products.
Job role: Electrical Design Engineer - Permanent

JOB SUMMARY
- Assist in the design and layout of electrical support systems for Test machinery.
- Design and documentation of electrical panels, PCBs and general machine wiring.
- Basic mechanical design for electro-mechanical elements of machines.
- Practical electrical and electronic prototyping.
- Specification, documentation and management of electrical bills of materials.
- Support and improve electrical design of existing product range.
PREFERED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Essential:
- Experience of designing Electrical/Electronic Systems in an industrial setting.
- Extensive experience of designing electrical panels for industrial systems (Circuit breakers, contactors, etc.)
- Experience of specifying and designing wiring looms for electrical machinery
- CAD experience (preferably AutoCAD, Inventor, Cadstar)
- Good practical electrical/electronic skills for prototyping / testing.
