Description
The Role:
- Manage financial records and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Implement financial procedures and controls to enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with other departments.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in financial audits and implement corrective actions if needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Profile
The Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrable experience of a solid financial grounding in a similar role
- Relevant qualification such as AAT or part-qualified CIMA / ACCA, ideally
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software, such as SAGE, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of financial regulations and standards
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Happy to work in a fast-paced environment
