We are currently hiring an experienced Financial Crime Analyst, to join the team on a short term contract to assist with reviewing cases to determine the eligibility for a SAR disclosure, including writing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), determining Defense Against Money Laundering (DAML), and conducting transaction analysis and investigations.
What does the job involve?:
- Act as a subject matter expert on financial crime and regulatory requirements.
- Write and submit SARs to the relevant authorities.
- Determine DAML and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct transaction analysis and investigations to identify potential financial crime.
- Accurately document findings and outcomes of investigations.
- Produce financial crime-related management information (MI).
Competence, Knowledge, and Skills:
- A good understanding of financial crime and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in writing SARs and determining DAML.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build and maintain internal/external relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to take ownership of specific technical queries/issues through to resolution.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- A team player.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task across both team-oriented and individual tasks.
Day Rate - Up to £500pd
