As the PLC/Automation Engineer, you will be a key player in all key plant KPIs and support the operational managers and maintenance teams.
In your first few weeks in this PLC/Automation Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Commission and create new equipment PM procedures plus any key information that will be needed by the wider team
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage the delivery of projects
- Be the primary contact for new industrial equipment supporting problem-solving analysis, MMTF, continuous monitoring and technical support for special plant activities
- Work with Siemens PLC's
To apply for this PLC/Automation Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC Systems
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing and project management
- Some HMI design experience would be useful
This position is on site and days, Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30 am - 2pm and paying circa £50,000 per annum.
