ACCA or ACA Qualified or 'Almost Qualified' Accountant, Audit, Part Remote, Crawley, West Sussex
Accountant required to work for a Professional Services business based in Crawley, West Sussex. This role is part remote / part office based and you will be expected to be in the office circa 2 days per week.
We are looking for someone who is energetic and enthusiastic who has either just passed their ACA or ACCA, or if you are on the verge of it! Equally we can looking for experienced candidates looking for a change.
The dream candidate would be someone who has just passed their ACA (or is about to) and has had a change of heart, not wanting to be a full on Auditor. The role involves heavy Accounting Reporting and also has a Treasury Accounting edge to it. However, the Treasury experience is less important. We do want someone who is ambitious and wants to move on to bigger and better things in their career. Attitude is key here.
The main purpose of this role is to support the Group Reporting and Treasury Manager.
The group reporting remit of the role will include assisting with the year-end group reporting, production of statutory accounts for the UK Group's legal entities and ensuring the integrity of reporting is maintained. The treasury remit of this individual's responsibilities will include maintaining the Group's daily cashflow position, reporting this to Senior Stakeholders, and proposing necessary cash movements.
Experience required:
- Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Proficient in ERP usage (Workday ideal but not essential)
- External audit experience
- Strong ambition to move upwards in your career
- Previous exposure to treasury and experience of FX transactions advantageous but not essential.
