I am currently recruiting for a leading privately owned business services group that are undergoing significant expansion and acquisitions within the UK. To help facilitate this growth they are seeking to recruit an experienced Group FP&A Manager to head the budgeting and forecasting for the UK entity.
Duties
- Management of monthly end process, including reporting to group and extended report at half year/year-end, ensuring data is submitted in line with agreed deadlines.
- Preparation of board report to be used in the monthly business reviews, liaising with wider stakeholders for their contributions to various slides and arrange review with leadership allowing for adequate time for changes before group meeting.
- Monthly variance analysis and margin analysis with supporting insights to be used for corrective actions.
- Monthly control of Working Capital, ensuring processes, compliance reviews and improvement.
- Coordinate Budgeting and forecasting cycles across UK.
- Strategic financial planning - work closely with leadership team to define both short and long-term financial strategy and creating concrete proposals to optimise operating expenses and business performance.
- Drive improvements in UK reporting, developing consistency and accuracy in the data allowing different sources of information to be reconciled.
- Ad-hoc Decision-making support leadership team.
Experience
- Proven experience in an FP&A/Financial Control role.
- Experience of operating within a complex organization with evidence of communicating with a variety of people at different levels;
- Multinational company experience in a fast paced service environment;
- Proven analytical ability in identifying and delivering on areas for improvements to finance and operational processes.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or any other international accounting equivalent.
