Semiconductor Manufacturing Manager - What You'll be Doing Each Day:
The Application Engineering Manager is responsible planning and coordinating all aspects of technical and quality interface between assigned customers and company manufacturing sites. Responsible for coordinating resolution for all technical and quality issues pertaining to assigned customers.
Semiconductor Manufacturing Manager - Responsibilities:
- Under minimal managerial direction, responsible for liaising between assigned customers and our facilities as the technical interface.
- Manages technical service activities for assigned customers.
- Process and coordinate resolution of customer complaints and claims
- Proposes technical solutions to customers and drives joint product evaluations.
- Review, negotiation, and confirmation of customer specifications
- Review customer's current and future requirements and provide information to applicable manufacturing sites
- Coordinate design of new products based upon customer needs
- Resolve any other customer technical and quality issues by acting as interface between the customer and manufacturing sites
- Supports the activity of the sales personnel and assist management in their goals and strategies.
- Maintain current knowledge of silicon technology including all Manufacturing sites capabilities
- May provide routine direction and assistance to less senior engineers.
- Training (coordination and or execution) to the Application Engineers.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Semiconductor Manufacturing Manager - Skills you'll need to succeed:
- Preferably Bachelor / Master's Degree in Physical Science, Materials Engineering, or Silicon Technology or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or research and development environment in the semiconductor industry, preferably with silicon experience.
- Strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to present materials in front of an audience
- Ability / availability to travel extensively
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment
