Our client is seeking an experienced property manager. The main purpose of this role is to ensure their clients receive a high level of customer service. Attaining the highest possible standards of maintenance and presentation is achievable. You will:
- Be responsible for delivery of property management services to a portfolio of residential buildings
- Carry out risk Management during site visits
- Carry out inspections of the internal and external common areas
- Be responsible for your team and ensure they are up to date with new legislation
- Oversee all repair and maintenance needs noted during regular inspections and ensure that updates are proactively issued to those affected by the issue, and to those reporting the issue
- Proactively tackle any health and safety risk(s), involving the Associate Director as necessary
- Recognise serious risks requiring urgent attention, escalating and actioning accordingly
- Provide financial reports are written, reviewed, and submitted accurately, and promptly
- Administer licenses and consents for consignments, sub-lets and alterations
- Ensure that the insurance provided is adequate and appropriate for the property
- Take responsibility for appointing a building surveyor and ensure section 20 notices are served and a major works programme is in place
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in multi-purpose/residential property management
- Have experience in managing a small team
- Be articulate and personable, with commercial acumen and the ability to challenge
- Be a confident and effective communicator
- Have the ability to build strong client and customer relations
Working hours Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm.
