Accounts/ Client Manager

Butler Rose Public Practice are working with a highly regarded firm that are looking for an ambitious Accounts/ Client Manager to provide a full suite of accounting support to a varied portfolio of small to medium sized businesses.
Role Responsibilities
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Oversee the implementation of systems for clients and assisting them with enquiries
- Monitor deadlines and work closely with senior team to ensure budgets and clients' expectations are always met
- Oversee junior team members
- Support business development by scoping new service lines for your portfolio
- General bookkeeping
Personal Requirements
- AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified or equivalent
- Accountancy background with at least 5 years' experience within practice
- Previous history of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns for small businesses
- Adept at using accountancy software, including Xero, IRIS, Sage and Quickbooks
- Technically competent across the Microsoft suite
- Highly organised and able to manage own workload effectively
- Strong communicator
- Proactive problem solver
