Location: Fordingbridge
Salary: £22,500 pa
Hours: 8.00am-16.30pm Monday to Friday, including 1 hour for lunch

Working with our Client who is a well-established global distributor, we are now looking for two Stores Operatives/Packers to work within their packing department on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of warehouse activity, including receiving, picking, packing and shipping goods. The role can be repetitive but you will be able to pick inventory to a high level of accuracy.
The work can be fast paced but full training will be provided. You will be able to follow standard work instructions and maintain company procedures. The Stores Operative/Packer will follow all HS&E regulations and achieve company objectives and highest level of customer satisfaction while assisting with any other activities that may be considered a function of the warehouse.
TO BE A CONSIDERATION FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT OR LIVE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.
The successful candidate will need to: -

- Be physically fit - a lot of manual handling, standing for a long period of time and walking involved.

- Be highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines when under pressure.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Picking of stock with a high level of accuracy
- Inspection of customer orders to ensure "Right first time".
- Packing of customer orders to strict cut off times
- Releasing of orders to couriers
- Undertake cycle counts and stock takes as required.
- Maintain the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Any other Stores duties as requested by the Supervisor/line Manager.
There is a little bit of banter in the stores, so you need to be able to work within that environment.
