Warehouse Associate

Location: Cleckheaton
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8AM - 5PM, Friday 8AM - 4PM, 39 hours per week.

Job Overview:
Responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods in the warehouse, from receiving and inventory management to order fulfilment and shipping.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor deliveries; inspecting them to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Organise and relocate materials, tools, and equipment to appropriate shelves, bins, racks, or pipe bundles by a predetermined sequence, including bind location, size, type, style, and length.
- Label material with accurate identifying information.
- Compile customer orders from stock and package orders to customer requirements.
- Retrieve orders for delivery and stock-to-stock transfer; load onto the appropriate delivery vehicle or transfer to the packing area using a Counterbalance / Reach forklift, overhead crane.
- Prepare documentation for various couriers and shipping locations.
- Comply with required safety policies, guidelines and training.
- Keep the warehouse clean in compliance with governmental health and safety regulations and company safety policies
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Ensure the safety and health of yourself and others
- Report workplace hazards, injuries, or illnesses immediately
Requirements:
- Must be competent and have experience operating FLT Counterbalance / Reach trucks.
- Valid in date licences are desirable.
- Experience working within a workshop or inspection role
- Physically fit - able to work on your own initiative
- Be able to work at a fast pace and help other team members where needed
- Basic maths and reading skills
- Ability to learn and follow company health and safety policies and procedures
- Ability to learn company warehouse operations and business processes
