Fram Search are working with a specialist lending firm based in Hertfordshire. Due to exceptional growth, they are seeking a telephone-based business development manager. This is an ideal role for an individual who can identify new business opportunities, forge and manage strong relationships over the phone. Our client is looking for someone who wants to be part of growing and diverse firm, that rewards and encourages their employees to grow and develop, while offering an excellent service to their clients. The role is office based and as a telephone BDM you will be given a region and work alongside a regional account manager, promoting and managing the firm's residential and BTL products via brokers, product partners and mortgage intermediaries.

Some of the duties include:

  • Responsible for creating, retaining, and growing new client relationships.
  • Supporting the regional account managers with loan case work
  • Building relationships with brokers and partners
  • Managing new business enquiries
  • Coordinating with sales admin team to ensure an active diary
  • Liaising with residential underwriting team to support RAM.
  • Ensuring reports and CRM system are accurate and kept up to date
  • Developing a deep understanding of the firm's residential mortgage offering and other products.

A likely candidate will have previous experience within a sales environment, be able to build strong, lasting relationships over the phone. This role will suit someone who is highly motivated, reliable, likeable, with strong communication skills, and willing to go that extra mile for the clients.
