Sales Executive – Field Sales

  • Annual Salary: Circa £37,000 p/annum - £38,000 p/annum + Performance Bonus + Car
  • Location: Watford
  • Job Type: Full-time, Office and Field Based

Join our client's dynamic sales team as a Sales Executive, where you will play a crucial role in developing a customer portfolio and achieving sales targets. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an active sales environment, is driven to succeed and exceed, and is keen on driving both new and existing business growth.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct prospecting phone calls and customer web sales meetings.
  • Schedule appointments and on-site visits for key opportunities. Occasional overnight stays possible
  • Focus on acquiring new customers and expanding existing business, within industrial, manufacturing, factory, production.
  • Follow up on quotes and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Understand and communicate customer needs and market developments to the company.
  • Identify new product opportunities and contribute to the team's overall success.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Sales Experience would be a benefit.
  • Proficiency in telephone and web meeting sales.
  • Experience with on-site visit sales and negotiation of sales offers.
  • Good reporting skills, high productivity levels, and strong sales & communication skills.
  • Tenacious pursuit of new business.
  • Competency in using computer software including Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Good written and spoken English.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical and/or engineering qualification a benefit.
  • Sales qualification.
  • Experience in studying customers' product range to identify sales opportunities.
  • Application support for customers.
  • Cross-referencing different manufacturers' product ranges.
