Consolidation & Planning Manager

Orka Financial is working with an international manufacturing business based in High Wycombe (5 days per week) to recruit a Consolidation & Planning Manager. The role is responsible for a broad set of consolidation, forecasting and planning activities. The role is UK based but includes responsibility for some European reporting alongside global consolidation tasks. The Consolidation & Planning Manager will own key relationships with a number of Senior non-finance stakeholders as well as taking ownership for the Groups consolidation work and consolidation tools.

Responsibilities:
 Upload of regional Actuals, Forecasts and Plans
 Global consolidation of Actuals, Forecasts and Plans
 European Reporting and Analysis
 Creation of annual templates and reporting
 Development of local/EU/global reporting
 Training & support of system users
 Monthly consolidation, reporting and analysis of European Bookings and Backlog data
 Preparation and review of global schedules for Flash and Day 0 Outlooks
 Annual consolidation, reporting and analysis of global Shipments data
 Ownership of inputs and outputs for all forecasting and planning activities
 Global Product Margin Analysis
 European KPI Dashboard reporting updates and analysis
 Review of European contracts, to analyse for audited revenue recognition
 Dynamic Systems Pricing and discounting analysis
 Ad hoc business analysis and project support as required by Dynamic Systems team
 Ownership monthly reporting pack including update of forecasts and sales territory analysis
 Monthly dashboard updates and analysis
 Monthly territory reporting and analysis
 Supporting ad hoc strategic analysis and financial modelling
 Support Engineering Director with month end actuals analysis
 Monthly forecast updates and variance explanations
 Support budget inputs and year on year bridges

Profile:

  • Forecasting and Planning experience, Consolidation experience
  • Excel proficiency
  • Understanding of broad range of accounting principles
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or global equivalents)

Salary:
£55,000 - £67,000 + benefits
