Job Title: Estimator - General Construction

Location: Commutable to Olney

Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000neg

Benefits: Pension, health care & 21days annual leave

The role of the Estimator - General Construction will involve:

  • Estimator position dealing with construction projects primarily within the public sector but also dealing with residential and commercial
  • Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
  • Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
  • Producing formal quotations to customers
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
  • Occasional site surveys
  • Project sizes ranging in value from £100,000 to £5,000,000

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - General Construction with:

  • Must have estimating experience within the UK construction industry working for a Main Contractor
  • Ideally will have experience carrying out take offs in the education market sector
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
  • Resilient individual who can resolve site issues in a professional manor
  • Full UK driving license
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • High levels of organisation
