Are you a skilled Finance Manager from the Construction Industry looking to join a dynamic and growing organisation? Our client, a leading construction company, is seeking a Finance and Administration Manager to oversee their finance and accounting function. With a competitive salary range of £30,000 to £45,000 per annum, this permanent full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • General office management and administration
  • Manage all aspects of the finance and accounting function for our client's group of companies.
  • Oversee the Group's bank accounts, including daily financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and supplier payment processes.
  • Supervise the use of Sage and ancillary records, ensuring accurate accounting entries and adherence to Group policy.
  • Handle sales and purchase ledger management, liaising with external accountants and bookkeepers.
  • Complete and submit all required returns to HMRC and other statutory bodies, including VAT, PAYE, and C.I.S.
  • Maintain employer records for PAYE staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in the building and construction industry is essential.
  • Professional accountancy qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent competency in SAGE 50 accounting software, sales and purchase ledger administration, bank reconciliations, and VAT/PAYE administration, plus C . I . S
  • Proficiency in Excel and other IT skills.
