Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Estimator / Estimator - Hard Services to join our passionate and driven team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hard Services Estimator to join the team.

The successful candidate will be working within the Commercial Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interrogate hard services asset information and align with SFG20 maintenance schedules
  • Oversee commercial tender activity including pricing and preparation and submission of client pricing schedules
  • Undertake site visits to determine clients' requirements on a project-by-project basis
  • Using excel modelling, work with SFG 20 to create winning propositions
  • Liaising with Sales teams and Operations to develop costing solution
  • Carry out other commercial functions as required
  • Assisting the Lead Estimator and Commercial Manager when tendering TFM opportunities
  • Manage a handover process with the Operations Team on successful tenders
  • Building cost models that flow freely into the various submission templates that clients utilize and generate cost model for board sign-off packs
  • Attendance at tender review meetings and costing sign off meetings

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Technically qualified in a Mechanical/Electrical discipline
  • Financially competent, with good knowledge of hard services pricing, and working with complex financial models and SFG20
  • Working closely with Business Development and Contract Operations teams in developing technical maintenance solutions
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize a busy workload, work well under pressure and meet project deadlines
  • Knowledge of hard services, or TFM bidding environment
  • Understanding of HVAC industry
  • An ability to understand, scrutinize and verify supplier and subcontractor quotations for compliancy
  • Well organised with a high attention to detail
  • Experience working with framework pricing such as Crown Commercial Services (CCS), (NEC 4),
  • Awareness of public sector tendering and specifically MoJ, MoD highly desirable
  • Liaise with operational and procurement teams to ensure the smooth transition/implementation for new contracts
