Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Estimator / Estimator - Hard Services to join our passionate and driven team.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hard Services Estimator to join the team.
The successful candidate will be working within the Commercial Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interrogate hard services asset information and align with SFG20 maintenance schedules
- Oversee commercial tender activity including pricing and preparation and submission of client pricing schedules
- Undertake site visits to determine clients' requirements on a project-by-project basis
- Using excel modelling, work with SFG 20 to create winning propositions
- Liaising with Sales teams and Operations to develop costing solution
- Carry out other commercial functions as required
- Assisting the Lead Estimator and Commercial Manager when tendering TFM opportunities
- Manage a handover process with the Operations Team on successful tenders
- Building cost models that flow freely into the various submission templates that clients utilize and generate cost model for board sign-off packs
- Attendance at tender review meetings and costing sign off meetings
About You:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Technically qualified in a Mechanical/Electrical discipline
- Financially competent, with good knowledge of hard services pricing, and working with complex financial models and SFG20
- Working closely with Business Development and Contract Operations teams in developing technical maintenance solutions
- Demonstrates high attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize a busy workload, work well under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Knowledge of hard services, or TFM bidding environment
- Understanding of HVAC industry
- An ability to understand, scrutinize and verify supplier and subcontractor quotations for compliancy
- Well organised with a high attention to detail
- Experience working with framework pricing such as Crown Commercial Services (CCS), (NEC 4),
- Awareness of public sector tendering and specifically MoJ, MoD highly desirable
- Liaise with operational and procurement teams to ensure the smooth transition/implementation for new contracts
