A leading company in the insurance industry is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. The role is a 12-month fixed term contract and offers up to £25,000.00 per year. The successful candidate will be based in the Warrington/ Cheshire area and will have the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week.

They work with some of the world's largest motor manufacturers and dealerships, providing web support, accident aftercare, affinity insurance products, and commercial fleet management. They invest heavily in training and development and have retained over 95% of their staff.
The Role:
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for reconciling premium and commissions, processing and reconciling financial transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. They will also assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports and collaborate with other departments to gather financial data. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:
- Reconciliation of premium and commissions
- Timely movement of funds
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports
- Process and reconcile financial transactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Required knowledge and experience for the Finance Assistant role:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
