We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join our team and provide comprehensive support in various HR-related topics. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about managing onboarding processes, assisting in recruitment, maintaining employee records, and ensuring legal compliance. The successful candidate will report directly to the HR Manager and play a key role in fostering a supportive work environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start.
  • Provide support to employees on HR-related topics and queries.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining company policies and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Support the recruitment process by preparing employment contracts and other HR documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and records in electronic format.
  • Conduct exit interviews and assist with the organisation of employee performance reviews.
  • Take notes during HR-related meetings, including operations and sales meetings.
  • Manage absence reporting, holiday approvals, and return to work meetings.
  • Obtain references for potential employees and carry out DBS checks.
  • Report on HR metrics such as staff turnover, absence, lateness, and training modules.
  • Contribute to employee health & wellbeing initiatives and promote the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
  • Update group beneficiary forms and assist with all HR-related matters, including maternity/paternity/parental leave.
  • Promote the employee benefits platform to improve engagement.
  • Conduct driving licence checks and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Assist with First Aid training coordination and payroll administration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator or relevant human resources/administrative position.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.
