An exciting opportunity awaits a Junior Technical Support professional interested in Data Analysis to join a forward-thinking executive search organisation. As an accredited B Corp, our client is dedicated to making a positive impact and ensuring their business practices meet the highest social and environmental performance standards.

The role will be approximately 50-60% Technical Support and 40-50% Data Analysis duties.

Please note: This position is unsuitable for candidates looking purely for a 100% data analysis role, as there are not enough data analysis responsibilities to make that possible.

Junior Technical Support and Data Analyst Key Skills:

We are seeking talented early-career individuals who are primarily skilled in technical support and interested in growing their data analysis expertise.

To excel in this position, you should possess many of the following:

  • IT technical support experience, including IT hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, particularly with Office 365 packages.
  • Familiarity and experience with SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Experience providing technical support to end users locally and remotely, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
  • Experience configuring and installing software on laptops.
  • Some exposure to data analysis, such as gathering data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness, or experience cleaning data to remove errors or irrelevant information.
  • Some experience using Power BI to create reports, dashboards, and visualisations.

About the Junior Technical Support and Data Analyst Role:

You will be crucial to the smooth operation of our client's systems while gradually growing your skills in data analysis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support to a growing userbase of 50+.
  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows operating systems and Office 365 packages.
  • Managing datasets and using Power BI to support the technology team in creating reports on KPIs and metrics.
  • Responding to ad-hoc data requests and maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Collaborating with managed support providers to ensure smooth hardware and software support.
  • Working with the managed service provider to roll out new laptops and configure them for users.
  • Learning Intune, CRM systems, and customised AI bot technology to support the organisation better.
  • Upgrading software and troubleshooting 1st and 2nd line support issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Supporting the technology team with data analysis tasks and visualisation, with increasing responsibility as your skills develop.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: £32-40,000

o The remaining period of payable maternity leave (up to 26 weeks) will be paid at the lower rate of SMP.
