  • Collaborate with the Business Development team through the Lloyd's Making It Happen process to onboard new syndicates. Work closely with syndicates, internal functions, and Lloyd's to ensure expectations and processes are clearly defined, understood, and efficiently implemented.
  • Proactively address and resolve long-standing issues by working with syndicates and internal teams to clarify and close actions.
  • Manage syndicates undergoing transitions, including novations to new Managing Agencies, external RITC transactions, or transitions from a Syndicate-in-a-Box to a full syndicate.
  • Actively participate in Syndicate Boards and various internal committees, contributing to reports and supporting the Head of Client Management in reporting to the agency Board and Executive Committee.
  • Disseminate knowledge across internal teams to enhance the quality of services provided to syndicates.

Key Personal Skills

  • A driven approach to meeting objectives and resolving challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and communication abilities with the capacity to effectively challenge stakeholders when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple deadlines across various stakeholders.
  • Focused on delivering consistent, high-quality results with a solution-driven mindset.

Key Technical Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

  • Syndicate Operations: Broad understanding of syndicate operations within the Lloyd's market across various functions.
  • Knowledge of the governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory responsibilities of a Lloyd's Managing Agent.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients across key business functions.
  • Proven ability to execute strategic priorities across different business areas.
