Job Summary

We are acting for an exceptional international wealth management company who are seeking a Legal Counsel to join their dynamic multi-disciplinary team, where your expertise will guide informed decision-making and ensure risks are identified and minimised.

Key Responsibilities

Do you have experience in the following?

  • In-house legal experience within a regulated financial services organisation, or equivalent experience within a large commercial law firm.
  • Experience in Commercial/FS Contracts, Litigation Management/Disputes, Complaints, Compliance, Employment, Competition, IP and Brand Law.
  • Previous experience of managing external law firms.
  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 2 years relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Experience of working in an International Life Assurance/Wealth Management organisation or similar financial services organisation.
  • Experience of working with legal matters in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Good working knowledge of financial products and industry and regulatory practice.
  • Works collaboratively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.
  • Builds effective relationships with people at all levels. Able to confidently and effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Open to manage and training juniors within the legal team.
