Our client, a leading tax, accountancy, and business advisory firm, is seeking a Senior Company Secretary to join their prestigious team in central London.
About the Senior Company Secretary:
As Senior Company Secretary, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality company secretarial services. You'll work closely with senior team members, oversee junior staff, and play a crucial role in maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of clients
- Provide expert advice on complex company secretarial matters
- Oversee Companies House filings and ensure statutory compliance
- Maintain accurate statutory records for all clients
- Lead complex company secretarial projects
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices
- Support business development initiatives
The Ideal Senior Company Secretary:
- Degree educated with a professional qualification (CGI or equivalent) preferred
- Substantial experience in a similar role within professional services
- In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act and relevant statutes
- Proficiency with company secretarial software (e.g., Diligent Entities)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in mentoring junior team members
