Pay and Reward Implementation Lead
- Job Type: Full-time / Fixed Term Contract until June 2026
- Location: City of London / Hybrid with 3 days per week in office
- Salary: £66,910 to £75,010 (ILW included) and amazing benefits
We are delighted to work with a very prestigious and historic London authority. They are seeking a Pay and Reward Implementation Lead to join them until June 2026 on a fixed term employed basis.
This role is integral to their reward transformation project team, focusing on leading the successful implementation of a new job evaluation, pay, and grading framework. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pay and reward management within a large organisation and possess strong project management skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Project manage the introduction of improvements, implementing, and communicating changes across the corporation.
- Develop, oversee, and manage the implementation of new approaches to pay and reward that support the People Strategy.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance on pay frameworks, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and effective implementation of the pay and grading framework.
- Engage with various stakeholders to communicate changes and gather feedback to refine reward strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Significant experience in reward management, specifically within the pay and reward arena.
- Excellent knowledge of job evaluation and reward practices including pay models, job evaluation frameworks, and job families.
- Public sector experience,
- Proven track record of delivering reward transformation and managing associated changes in a large organisation.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects from conception through to completion.
- Ability to provide strategic advice and make decisions that align with the organisation's goals.
