We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our clients established engineering manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for building various food processing equipment for UK and international clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding and fabricating stainless steel (1.0mm-12mm) using Tig and Synergic Mig processes.
- Reading engineering drawings, understanding tolerances, and working with sheet-metal machinery.
- Ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards, both in the factory and on client sites.
Requirements:
- Experience in welding/fabrication and reading engineering drawings.
- City & Guilds qualifications or an apprenticeship in welding and fabrication are advantageous.
Hours:
- 39 hours per week with overtime available at 1.5x pay
