We're looking for Class 2 drivers to work for our clients based in Newcastle, Gateshead, Washington and South Shields.
We support our clients with holiday cover, sickness cover and additional workload requirements therefore for this to be suitable for you, you must be happy with temporary, ad hoc work. This would work perfectly if you have another job/ other commitments or are not reliant on a full time salary.
Shifts tend to start between 5am - 7am and vary from trunk runs to multidrop. To be considered you must have held your Class 2 licence for a minimum of 1 year, have excellent customer service skills and for these particular clients have experience working with either timber or pallets.
Pay Rates £12.50 - £14 per hour + holiday pay. Shifts available from WC 12th August.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
As a LGV Category C Driver you will:
- Complete pre departure vehicle checks
- Transport goods between planned sites and drops
- Complete paperwork and follow compliance
- Adhere to tachograph and working times rules
Qualifications
In order to process your application, you must have the following:
- HGV Class 2 entitlement
- CPC
- Digi tacho card
We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR/DU on a licence.
