Requirements:
- At least a 2:1 bachelor's degree in psychology, or a related field.
- A passion for the learning and development of pupils with complex needs.
- Adaptable character to accommodate the unique needs of the SEN pupil.
- Some understanding of complex needs and how these can be facilitated.
- Previous experience of working in a school, or with additional support needs is preferable.
The Role
- Building strong bonds with an SEN student and teaching staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Assisting staff in adapting learning materials and lesson plans to suit the needs of the pupil.
- Supporting the pupil across the syllabus to aid their attainment.
- Partaking in activities with the wider school community.
