Scheme Manager required in Liverpool on an ongoing, temporary basis to work 35 hours a week (Monday to Friday) with hourly rates up to £19ph.
You'll be responsible for providing an effective housing management service to residents living within the scheme, empowering and encouraging them to engage in a range of activities that promote health, wellbeing, social inclusion and independent living.
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out viewings with applicants and completing inductions with new residents
- Reviewing and updating risk & needs assessments
- Daily wellbeing checks and responding to emergency calls
- Health & safety checks, property inspections and walkabouts, testing fire safety equipment, reporting and chasing repairs
- Supporting with tenancy sustainment, providing advice and guidance in relation to arrears, signposting or making referrals where appropriate
- Responding to resident queries and complaints
What you'll need to succeed
- 12 months' experience working in housing, ideally with older and vulnerable people
- Experience of completing risk/need assessments and developing support plans
- Knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits with the ability to provide budgeting advice.
- Caseload management skills and multi-agency work.
