Description
- Processing invoices and managing payment of suppliers
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Maintaining the purchase ledger
- Assisting with month-end closing
- Preparing reports on account status
- Collaborating with the team to improve financial processes
- Addressing and resolving any invoice queries
- Managing petty cash transactions
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- Understanding of general accounting procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Experience in data entry and management
- Knowledge of accounts payable principles
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
