Parking Enforcement Officer
- Hourly Rate: £16.49 PAYE / £20.38 LTD UMB

We are currently seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer for an immediate start. The ideal candidate must have their own car and a full driving licence. This role involves issuing penalties, ensuring compliance within car parks, and maintaining high levels of customer service. The position requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
Day to Day of the role:
- Issue penalties to vehicles in an offence position, utilising any technology provided and adapting to evolving enforcement methods.
- Maintain individual performance by actively engaging with service management in one-to-one sessions.
- Complete penalties accurately to minimise error rates.
- Comply with all audit requirements when issuing penalties.
- Demonstrate high levels of customer service at all times.
- Work efficiently to ensure maximum compliance within car parks.
- Engage with management to explore cost savings and efficiencies.
- Be flexible to work a variety of shifts, with the understanding that shifts may change at short notice. Weekends and public holidays will be included on rota. Shifts - 6.30 - 14.30 / 10.00 - 18.00 / 13.00 - 21.00
- Assist with minor maintenance of car park premises and equipment, including pay machines.
- Defuse difficult situations with customers effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have own car and full driving licence.
- Strong face to face customer service experience
- Strong customer service skills.
- Efficient work ethic with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Good communication skills and the ability to defuse challenging situations.
- Basic maintenance skills are desirable.
