TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is looking for a Management Accountant (Practice) to join a growing and market leading firm of chartered accountants in Sittingbourne, Kent.
You will work in a high quality and ambitious team, within a well-established and highly successful business, where you will be responsible for overseeing management accounting, bookkeeping, VAT and cloud software services to a range of clients across the UK.
Our client acts on behalf of some excellent businesses and you will be offered great technical exposure across a range of industries. You will work closely with the stakeholders within your client base and build long-term relationships with them.
Reporting into the manager, you will be dealing with a wide range of work, including:
- Preparation and review of Management Accounts, including budget vs actuals, forecasting, adjustments, accruals, and prepayments.
- Accurately prepare and review VAT Returns.
- Review work of the junior team.
- Development and training of the junior team.
- Maintain and update client's accounting records.
- Assisting clients with improving their internal processes and procedures.
- Interim financial controller support to clients as required.
Requirements
Management Accountant (Practice) Sittingbourne
- Ability to prepare management accounts, including key performance indicators, cash flows, budget vs actuals, accruals, and prepayments for example.
- Strong experience of reviewing and preparing bookkeeping and VAT returns.
- Good effective communication skills.
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- To be confident meeting and working closely with client's.
- Experience of cloud software such as Xero, Sage and/or QuickBooks would be ideal.
